Refund & Return Policy

1. Returns

At Shining Legends Japan, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

 

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Time Frame: You have 60 calendar days from the date you received your item to initiate a return.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.

 

Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items are exempt from being returned, including:

  • Trading Card Game (TCG) Products: All TCG products (e.g., booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, and collection boxes) are final sale and non-returnable.

  • Mystery Boxes: These product is final sale with no return or exchange.

  • Gift Cards

 

2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info@shininglegends.jp to request a return. Please provide your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Approval: If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  3. Shipping Costs:

    • If the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), we will cover the return shipping costs.

    • For all other returns, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3. Damages and Issues

Please record a video of your order upon reception and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective or damaged.

  • You receive the wrong item.

This will allow us to evaluate the issue and make it right. Returns are unacceptable without a recorded video to support the request due to potential risks of receiving resealed items.


4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product:

  1. Email us at info@shininglegends.jp with your order number and details of the issue.


5. Pre-Order & Reserve Orders

  • Pre-Orders: Pre-order items have an expected manufacturer’s release date, which is not contractual and is only provided as our best estimate. Pre-orders can be canceled within 12 hours of purchase by emailing us at info@shininglegends.jp. Cancellation requests after 12 hours will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Pre-order sales are final and cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Reserve Orders: Reserve orders require a non-refundable deposit upfront. You will receive another invoice to pay the balance once your order is ready to be shipped. If you fail to pay the balance within the specified time frame, your order will be canceled with no refund.


6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet:

    1. Check your bank account again.

    2. Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

    3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

7. Cancellation/Restocking Fee

  • Order Cancellations: Cancellation requests after your payment has been captured will incur a 10% restocking fee. Orders over 80 USD will always incur a restocking fee.


8. Holiday Mode

During our holiday mode, you will need a password to access our site. Once you enter our site with the password, you agree that all shipments will not be fulfilled until we return from holiday mode. All cancellations during this period will incur a 10% restocking fee. Please contact us if you have any questions before placing an order during this period.


9. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to change our return policy without notice. Please review this policy periodically for any updates.
