Shining Legends was founded in 2023 by Zorba J. Wong, a lifelong Pokémon enthusiast. Born and raised in Canada, Zorba developed a deep passion for the popular Japanese media franchise at a young age.

When he was 25, he got a chance to move to Japan and started a new life over at the east and after 5 years in living in Japan, he decided to bring Japan's best Pokemon stuff to the world!

Back in Canada, Zorba would always purchase Japanese Pokémon products online. However, the service and response of Japanese online stores were often unsatisfactory. The poor English, slow customer service responses, and vastly inflated resale prices greatly frustrated him.

To address these frustrations that he and many others experienced, he created Shining Legends. This new venture aimed to provide a better purchasing experience for consumers seeking Japanese Pokémon merchandise.
